We feel like the Tribune Smokehouse is our home away from home. We first tried them over Labor Day weekend while we were visiting from the SF Bay Area. Enjoyed the food but it was the owners, Pete and Deb, who were great hosts. My favorite meal is their ‘adult’ grilled cheese sandwich with sweet potato fries. We came back this week and felt like we were at home. We look forward to moving up here and making this one of our regular stops

We were told we would have to wait about ten extra minutes as they had to make mashed potatoes to go with the chicken fried steak. Wait what from scratch? – yes. The food was amazing, and we were impressed with the service. Good place for a small community and awesome staff. Good variety of food choices.

Visited WA from North Carolina. Traveled through on way from Seattle back to Spokane. Stopped in with 6 adults and 3 little ones. Extremely impressed with the food and Service. Our waitress was great and very helpful. Everyone commented on how good the food was. I had the pork sandwich and I can say it was one of the BEST I have ever had (I grew up in Eastern NC and I’m a little bit of a BBQ snob)! So glad we found this place, and my brother in law will definitely be back as he lives in Spokane!

My family of 5 just had lunch here and it was great! When we walked in we were seated right away (which is AWESOME when you have 3 kids) and he gave us a pick of where we would be more comfortable sitting. Drinks came out right away and food didn’t take long at all. Everything was cooked exactly the way it should be and we all left full and happy. They sent my kids out with pinwheels and it made their day. It was very clean and organized. We will for sure come back. 5 stars for their staff too.

For a local resident of the town Davenport, WA, it is very nice to have a quality restaurant / pub. Not only do they have exceptionally well done food and drink, their Customer service is top notch. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with the unique and pleasant atmosphere that only the Tribune Smokehouse can provide. And the employees treat you like a long time customer.

We had the pork rind appetizer. And for the main dish we had their brisket dip, smoked potatoe salad, onion rings, and a nice cold mack n jacks! Everything we had was wonderful! The brisket dip came with a wonderful dipping sauce! I would like to go back tomorrow 🙂 the staff was very welcoming and it was a very nice atmosphere, I definitely recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back, maybe tomorrow! :p

I had the brisket dip with coleslaw, hubby had the bacon burger with fries and the kids had corn dogs and fries. It was very good! Great atmosphere! Love it!

Great place to eat while in Davenport, WA! Great food and awesome people who work there! The owners are very nice and friendly! They have a lot of great antiques throughout the restaurant to bring you back to your childhood years!! Fun place!!

We were so impressed with the eclectic industrial meets French farmhouse-ish ambiance and warm, friendly atmosphere! Loved how personable all the staff were and watching, as well as experiencing, the extra touch of Debbie and Pete making time for each and every one of their guests even though it was very busy. We loved our meal and I must say that the smoked potato salad Was. The. BOMB! SO GOOD! Incredibly happy for them and that we have a fresh, new, LOCAL option for a quality meal with a not-so-run-of-the-mill menu.

Definitely need to visit this gem located in Davenport, WA. Their specialty is smoked items…from meat to their potato salad. They smoke everything on site. My group sampled the appetizers: pork rinds, bacon fries with gargonzola, onion rings and sweet potato fries. Delicious. Also had the smoked turkey salad with blue cheese. So good. The smoked turkey was moist. The owners, Pete and Debbie Brickner are very friendly and accommodating. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Tribune Smokehouse – Davenport Wa.

Great alternative to El Ranchito… Frankly, we LOVE El Ranchito and enjoy the family friendly atmosphere. Sometimes you just want a burger and to watch Gonzaga play basketball! Pete, Debbie, and Jacob won’t disappoint you! The food is fantastic – smoky twist on everything including potato salad, family owned business dream and just the right volume on the MANY screens for the game. They even have one delayed 3 seconds so you can catch the replay.

Booth seats are so comfortable, you’ll want to munch on apps, chat, and watch the game all night! Thanks for a family-friendly gathering place for a reasonable price!
